The truth is the person you are today is just a sum total of all your habits and rituals. A teaching of Jim Rohn we repeat in many posts of this site is that you’re not a tree. As silly as it sounds, it’s true. Remember this saying, what’s trite is right.
Unlike other animals, humans have been given unique quality of change. At any moment we can change directions in our life. That’s always a possibility to humans. You can arrive at a whole new destination by changing course. Now will, you arrive tomorrow? No. It’s impossible to arrive at a 5 year destination overnight.
If you spent the past 20 years eating junk food you’ve got to expect that it’ll take longer than a week to correct course. That’s not some crazy proposition. But you’d be surprised how far you can come along with consistent repetition over two years.
